Key Personnel

Juergen Puetter

Juergen Puetter is the founder, President and CEO of Aeolis Wind Power Corporation (aeoliswind.com), a leading wind energy development organization with numerous project sites in western Canada.  He is also the driving force behind other energy alternatives including BC Wind (bcwind.com) and Blue Fuel (bluefuelenergy.com).  Mr. Puetter was appointed by the Government of Canada to serve as Chairman of Sustainable Development Technology Canada (sdtc.ca).

Prior to this, Mr. Puetter founded Hydroxyl Systems Inc. where he was President and CEO for a decade.  In 1977, he founded Bionaire Inc. and served as President and CEO until 1992.  Juergen Puetter has been responsible for much of the innovation pioneered and developed at each of these entrepreneurial businesses.  His academic background includes Electrical Engineering and Economics at Loyola University in Montreal.  Along with his technical expertise, Mr. Puetter is experienced in negotiating and securing funding for business and project development.

Dan Amadori

Dan Amadori is the CFO for Aeolis. He has more than 30 years of experience in the financial services sector. After graduating with a B.Comm from McGill in 1972, an MBA from Ivey in 1974, he joined Arthur Anderson. He qualified as a CA in 1976 and spent 12 years in public practice. In 1986 Mr. Amadori assumed the position of President of a privately held communications business. This company grew and was ultimately sold to a large public entity in 1988. In 1988 Mr. Amadori founded Lamerac Financial Corp, a corporate finance and mergers & acquisitions firm. He has successfully concluded numerous transactions in different industry sectors across North America. Mr. Amadori has served as CFO of a number of public and private companies over the past decade and currently serves as an officer or director of 5 public companies and two private companies.

John Partyka

John Partyka joined Aeolis Wind in the position of Vice President, Corporate Development.  He brings to Aeolis extensive experience across the energy value chain in corporate and project development, finance, evaluations and deal execution in domestic and international settings.  His background includes a number of large energy infrastructure organizations where he played key roles in negotiating and executing major acquisitions and transactions.  John entered the energy sector in the area of oil and gas exploration with a degree in Geological Engineering from University of Manitoba in 1981.  He subsequently returned to school to obtain his MBA from the University of Western Ontario in 1988, and also obtained the CFA designation.

Colleen Brown

Colleen Brown is Director of Projects and Planning for Aeolis Wind Power Corporation.  To this position, she brings national and international expertise in project development, conflict resolution and community building.  Prior to joining Aeolis, Colleen received her LL.B. and B.C.L. from McGill University and an M.Sc. in Community and Regional Planning from UBC.  Colleen worked as a renewable energy planning consultant in Vancouver and as an attorney in New York City.  While based in New York, she successfully negotiated project finance, permitting, and regulatory activities for a broad scope of sectors.  In addition, she is a past Director of the BC Sustainable Energy Association.  Her interests are extensive and include conservation, community energy systems, energy security, and the responsible development and application of sustainable energy.

Greg Dueck

In the role of Northern Field Representative for Aeolis Wind, Greg Dueck provides wind resource field work and assists with Aeolis' development work underway in the Peace River region of BC.  Greg has lived in Dawson Creek for more than 40 years and now raises his own family there.  He has been a strong supporter of sustainable living within the region for many years through his involvement with several local organizations.  He was associated with the founding of Peace Energy Cooperative and subsequently worked with the Bear Mountain Wind project.  As a member of the BC Sustainable Energy Association (BCSEA), he also assisted the start-up of the South Peace Chapter. 

Wagner Ksenhuk

Wagner Ksenhuk is Director of Wind Resource Management for Aeolis where he manages the technical aspects of wind data resources.  He holds a Civil Engineering degree from the State University of Sao Paulo with post graduate work in the wind industry at the Carl Duisberg Gesellschaft in Germany.  Wagner’s subsequent work in this specialized field focuses on wind data management, monitoring, meteorological tower installation, certification, project development and commercial negotiation.  Active in the energy sector, Wagner has more than 15 years of experience in several energy projects in Brazil.  He moved to Canada to join Aeolis Wind Power Corporation.

Marilyn Moorehead

As Corporate Administrator for Aeolis Wind Power Corporation, Marilyn Moorehead provides a comprehensive range of corporate services.  She specializes in establishing administrative protocol, policies and procedures designed to advance corporate goals for growing organizations.  Her primary focus relates to corporate administration, investor relations, and ISO certified corporate legal records management for engineering and project management initiatives.  Communications and marketing also figure prominently in her background.  Marilyn’s work in the public and private sectors has taken her to the National Research Council of Canada (NRC), Hydroxyl Systems, and the Victoria Commonwealth Games Society.  Prior to this, Marilyn held senior administrative and marketing positions in the newspaper industry in Toronto.

TJ Schur

TJ Schur, the Director of External Relations for Aeolis, has more than 12 years' experience working with policy decision makers, governments and senior stakeholders in multiple sectors.  Highly effective in organizational and program development, TJ spent three years in the energy sector – specifically wind development - in Ontario during the years of energy restructuring.  With experience in the manufacturing, energy, human services and IT sectors, TJ has grown a number of start-up programs and organizations as part of senior development teams.  She has a Masters degree in Environmental Studies (MES) in wind energy, community development and project planning.  The subject of her Masters project was the development of Canada’s first urban wind turbine in downtown Toronto – WindShare (Toronto Renewable Energy Cooperative).

Directors of the Board

Gordon Shaw

Gordon Shaw has held senior executive positions with Imperial Oil Ltd. for 35 years.   In addition, his expertise extends to other key industries across Canada and includes banking, computers, mining, real estate, politics, waste water treatment and wind power generation.  He also served on the board of Terra Mines Ltd. for many years, and retired as chairman.  Currently, he serves as a director on the board of AECL.  In politics, Gordon Shaw was one of the founders of the Reform Party of Canada.  He assumed the position of the inaugural Vice-Chair and subsequently became Executive Director.  With a keen interest in green technology, Gordon Shaw is a founding shareholder and director of Aeolis Wind Power Corporation.  In this capacity, his responsibilities include corporate secretary and chair of the Aeolis Advisory Board.  A devoted family man, Gordon Shaw resides in Victoria, BC with his wife, Mary-Jane.

Chris Green

Chris Green is a Civil Engineer (BASc, UBC, 1971) whose 35 year business career included Stanley & Associates and Xerox of Canada before entering the project syndication and management field. He has been self employed for the past 32 years specializing in the structuring and delivery of project based financing and management packages. These projects have been primarily centered on real estate development in Western Canada, Europe and the south western US. He has also undertaken syndication of technology based ventures in British Columbia under the Venture Capital Program. He resides in West Vancouver with his wife, Janis, and two of their 4 sons. He is a Director of several companies including Aeolis.
