HSH-Nordbank

HSH Nordbank is a wholesale international bank headquartered in Germany, with assets over $225bn, over 4000 employees worldwide, and offices in New York, San Francisco, and globally. In 2006, Infrastructure Journal ranked HSH Nordbank #2 in renewables financing worldwide. www.hsh-nordbank.de

Peace Energy Cooperative

The basic concept for Peace Energy Cooperative (PEC) was conceived early 2002. Two Dawson Creek businessmen with a keen interesting in renewable energy and energy conservation realized the potential for wind energy in the Peace River Country. As a cooperative, they argued, Peace Energy could pool resources and expertise from local people who can then actually own some the new renewable resource industry in the Peace Region. With 200 members, Peace Energy is committed to making renewable energy accessible and affordable for its members in the Peace Region of northern British Columbia and Alberta. This includes wind energy, geothermal heating, solar power, bio fuels, as well as energy conservation methods.

Aeolis and Peace Energy signed a Memorandum of Understanding. This document signifies the intention of the two organizations (PEC and Aeolis) to work out a detailed joint agreement for the development of a Wind Park on Bear Mountain – a site secured by PEC in July 2004 and identified by BC Hydro as one of the most promising in British Columbia.

AL-PRO GmbH & Co. KG

AL-PRO is an independent, interantionally active and DAP accredited consulting firm that specializes in wind energy modeling and assessment. Their main focus is site specific wind and yield analyses for wind farm developments using standard models like WAsP, as well as complex, non-linear, three dimensional  flow models and meso scale models to determine the regional wind regime.  While most project are located in flat terrain: AL-PRO is the recongnized and accepted expert in complex terrain wind flow modelling.

Aeolis has sought out the expertise of AL-PRO after recognizing that they are a preferred wind analyst consultant for Enercon. Combined with AL-PRO's expertise in complex terrain wind flow modelling this continues to prove an excellent fit for the sites that Aeolis is currently investigating. AL-PRO has provided wind analysis for Bear Mountain Wind Park, Thunder Mountain Wind Project and Hackney Hills Wind Project.                             www.al-pro.de/hp/en/start.php
